Valuable Links For Your Life July 26/08

Published July 26th, 2008

Another great week at the blog carnivals!  This week I participated in two of them, and it was a nice break to read some of the great work put out by a collection of my virtual colleagues.  I’ve changed the name of my top weekly choices for consistency, so you can look for this title towards the end of every week!  Here are my picks:

The Festival of Frugality moved over to Antishay Ventenne this week.  Shanti did a great job of hosting, and a good time was had by all!  It’s always hard to pick favourites at this carnival, but these two stood out for me:

Almost Frugal did a lovely job of hosting a France-themed Carnival of Money Stories this week. This is a blog I discovered just recently, and it’s well worth a visit! On to my faves, and what I looked for here is inspiration:

  • I Need Motivation’s post How I paid $25,000 In Debt Within 18 Months is just the kind of story that many of us could use. I commend Frederic’s level of dedication and practicality to this task, and agree completely with what he’s saying here.
  • Cash Money Life’s post Don’t Underestimate the Little Things made me smile because I believe that everything really does happen for a reason, and that some of the seemingly insignificant choices we make can open up doors we never imagined.

That’s all for now! I’ll be hosting the Carnival of Money Stories in a couple of weeks, so be prepared for more inspiration and good advice from some of the most talented writers in the blogosphere!
