Valuable Links For Your Life-Feb 9-2009
Published February 9th, 2009The latest edition of My 25% Grocery Savings Rule In Action was included in two of my favourite blog carnivals over the last week. Grab a snack, have a seat, and enjoy reading my favourite picks from the personal finance blogosphere over the last week!
My Journey To Millions did a great job of hosting the always fabulous Festival of Frugality. The following posts really stood out for me:
- Jim at Blueprint for Financial Prosperity (now called Bargaineering) offers up some great, down-to-earth and inexpensive Valentine’s Day Dates for us. This post brought a smile to my face, #2 was my first date with my now husband.
- My Wealth Builder wrote a simple but effective post about Reducing Spending Without Sacrificing Lifestyle by Eliminating Waste. These are three very simple things you can do that will save money without you feeling the pinch.
Divdend Tree graciously hosted the Carnival of Money Stories, and these were my favourites tales:
- MoneyNing wrote a motivational post called How To Brighten the Path to Proserity Even In a Dark Tunnel. I like this post because it’s a reminder that it’s a choice we make to be positive and look for solutions, something we sometimes lose sight of when things don’t go our way.
- Think Your Way to Wealth posted a timeless article called Walking the Fine Line Between Being a Spender and a Saver. I’m a saver, my husband is a spender, we built a bridge and try to meet in the middle
That’s it for this week!
