• This Week’s Carnival of Personal Finance

    Published March 11th, 2008

I’m excited this week because the Carnival of Personal Finance is hosted by a virtual Canadian neighbour I never knew I had! It’s over at the Quest for Four Pillars and you should definitely check it out–the theme relates to our unique country, and has some interesting facts.  A big thank you for supporting my site by including Getting Your Spouse Involved With Personal Finance.

    My favourites this week include:

Blunt Money’s post Good News! You’re standing in your own way gets it right when it comes to the financial excuses people make.

Funny about Money has good advice about Libel and slander insurance for bloggers.  I will definitely be asking my insurance agent about this one.

So Sick of Debt wrote a nice post about Trying to have patience when it comes to being debt free and where you want to be financially.  I’m sure many of us can relate!

The Digerati Life’s post on Getting to a Million Dollars With Small Change makes an excellent point, and ties in nicely with a recent article I wrote on avoiding the cost of procrastination.

Last but not least, I really enjoyed Squawkfox’s Ten Financial Lessons I learned from my Dog!

If you’re busy, make sure to bookmark the carnival and check out the whole thing.  There are actually quite a few helpful posts this week on some less common, but very important personal finance topics.

Thank you for the link Amanda! I am beyond thrilled you enjoyed financial planning according to my dog. ;) It looks like you have your hands full with TWO Labrador Retrievers! I am always appreciative of those who work with animals as my own dog was an SPCA rescue, and she has truly changed my life.
