Carnival of Personal Finance Roundup

Published April 10th, 2008

What a week!  This is a very busy time of the year both for business and personal finance.  A huge thank you to MoneyNing for hosting such a substantial Carnival of Personal Finance, and for including my post on the Upside of a Down Economy

There were a lot of great posts this week, but the following stood out for me:

I’ve Paid For This Twice Already’s post about Bugeting on An Irregular Income–welcome to my life! Very well written.

Chief Family Officer mentions some Creative Strategies for Coping With Rising Costs.  I’m with you on thinking outside the box!

Squawkfox writes an entertaining post outlining her Top Ten 80s Songs About Money.  I will officially endorse U2 as the only good band to come out of the 80s…yet somehow I find myself singing along with these tunes if if happen to hear them…

Hi Amanda! Thank you for the 80s money mix mention. I wanted to include bands like U2, INXS, Depeche Mode, and REM in the list. It’s funny that some of the biggest 80s bands didn’t mention money in their tunes. ;)
